GANT is very aware that our planet only offers limited amounts of resources. Respect for the environment is a natural part of our business process and is deeply anchored in everything we do. We are always very keen to reduce our footprint both at our own locations and throughout the supply chain. We understand the impact of our business on planet, climate, air, land use and biodiversity and take appropriate action. Our vision is to have made GANT a brand by 2030 that focuses on maintaining and redeveloping ecological business activities, while we always create high quality, timeless and durable preppy-style products.
We have set ourselves six goals:
- We are committed to ensuring that 50% renewable energy is used in all of our business operations by 2025 at the latest, and to promoting the use of renewable resources within our supply chain as well.
- We are committed to ensuring that 100% renewable energy is used in all of our business operations by 2030.
- We are committed to reducing the carbon footprint of our entire business operations by 30% by 2030.
- We are committed to ensuring that we do not cause deforestation by 2025 and that we will work to protect and sustainably manage natural forests.
- We are committed to ensuring that single-use plastics are phased out in our B2C packaging by 2025 and in our B2B packaging by 2030.
- We are committed to ensuring that at least 50% of all of our plastic packaging for B2C business is made from 100% recycled materials by 2025 and that for B2B business too by 2030.

Together with other industry leaders, GANT has become part of international partnerships for climate protection and signed the Charter for Climate Protection of the Fashion Industry drawn up by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in February 2019 and the G7 Fashion Pact in October 2019

Our customers should always feel safe wearing GANT garments. With our Restricted Substances List, we ensure that our clothing does not contain dangerous chemicals and we also strive to reduce the environmental impact of these products
